About us

We first discovered German wines while we were students at Cologne University back in 2007. On a road trip through the picturesque Mosel Valley during autumn, we not only got to taste the golden drops of Mosel riesling, but experienced the social aspects of viniculture when joining the vibrant wine festivals carried out in the cozy villages along the river. These impressions laid the foundation for the wine passion that would surface many years later.
Back in Norway many years went by and gradually after-work beers with friends and colleagues at the pub were replaced with dinner parties with wine pairings at home or in nice restaurants. We both quickly realised that within the wine world, the German Riesling was our favorite grape. We became increasingly interested in this versatile grape, and started exploring wider and deeper - regions, producers, vineyards, wines, vintages - our thirst for knowledge could not be quenched.

We travelled to Germany to explore the regions, meet producers on-site and walk in the epic vineyards we had read so much about.

Both of us being rather extroverted and relationship-focused in our approach, we quickly developed a network with producers across the German wine regions. In Norway, we started attending wine tastings and importers' events, to further explore and learn about German wines and the commercial structures of the wine industry.
The passion for German wines also expanded beyond the classic Riesling grape and added Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) and Chardonnay to our list of favored grapes, as the German production of these wines has become increasingly recognized for their high quality.

We have also expanded our business to conduct wine tastings, advice on wine tours and other wine-related events.
With our professional background in management consulting, we are highly experienced project managers and facilitators and we have a commercial mindset and are customer-oriented at heart. We can advise on, plan and carry out your event with the aim to exceed expectations and create a memorable, insightful and joyful wine experience.
